Agribusiness Master’s Degree Students University of Medan Area held a Field Study on Agribusiness Production Management courses on 11-12 January 2020 to PT. Perkebunan Nusantara III, PT. Perkebunan Nusantara IV and PPKS Marihat, Simalungun.

The Field Lecture activity was immediately departed by the Chair of the UMA Agribusiness Masters Study Program Prof. Dr. Ir. Yusniar Lubis, MMA and Lecturer in Agribusiness Production Management Dr. Ir. Erwin Nyak Akoeb, MS. On the first day of January 11, a group of students left for Bandar Betsy Gardens to see the processing of rubber and palm oil by the manager of Bandar Betsy Gardens managed by PT. Perkebunan Nusantara III (Persero).

On the second day of January 12, 2020 students then went to PKS Dolok Hilir, Marihat Palm Oil Plantation and Bah Butong Tea Plantation. There, students know firsthand the processing of the Tea Gardens which are managed by PPKS.

With this field lecture, it is expected that all students will get direct experience on how to process plantations by PT. Perkebunan Nusantara.
