InfoMAUMA – In order to improve the atmosphere and academic quality in the academic community of the University of Medan Area Postgraduate Program (PPS UMA) especially the Agribusiness Masters Study Program, on Monday 22 October 2018 a MoU was signed between the Agribusiness Masters Study Program of PPS UMA and the Indonesian Agricultural Economics Association (PERHEPI).
This activity was carried out during a visit carried out by UPS PPS functionaries to the PERHEPI Komda Medan office. Present during the visit were the Director of PPS UMA Prof. Dr. Ir. Retna Astuti K., MS, Chair of the Agribusiness Masters Study Program Prof. Dr. Ir. Yusniar Lubis, M.MA and Chair of Agrica UMA Journal Board Faoeza Hafiz Saragih, SP, M.Sc.
The visit was received by the Chairman of the Medan Regional Commission PERHEPI Prof. Dr. Ir. Mhd Assad, M.Sc, this MoU is more focused on improving the management of journals managed by Medan Area University especially in the field of agribusiness. In his statement Prof. Retna said that hopefully this MoU has a significant positive impact on improving the quality of the academic atmosphere in the UMA PPS environment. (/ dianfp)
